I have an old iPhone that is updated to 2.1. Do I have to have the Enterprise plan in order to get push email of my domain imap account? (hosting with HostGator)
Currently, I have the $20 unlimited data with 1500 Texts = $30

No you do not need the Enterprise plan. The standard iPhone data plan is fine and supports Push email (if the service providers support Push). However I don't think HostGator supports Push email. You will have to use standard IMAP or POP email.

the only free push email is Ymail (yahoo)
G mail does not "push" it only fetches
create a ymail account, forward your old mail to the new ymail account, set up the ymail on you iphone, BAM! push email.

Not entirely correct. While it will be PUSH between Yahoo Mail and your iPhone there is still the NON-PUSH portion where your email has to be forwarded from your old server to the Yahoo server, which delay times can vary based on your mail provider and how fast they forward mail.

I've seen some that are instantaneous and some servers that take several minutes or even longer.
