I have unlimited data on my iPhone 4, and have another phone (its a small slider phone, that's not for Internet usage) that I would like to use for going out or on vacation. If I were to switch to my second phone, for a few days, will my data plan change without my consent?
A little background to why I am asking of this:
I've had, a couple of years ago when they had eliminated the unlimited data (except for grandfathered in), went from another phone to iPhone 4 and they had changed my data plan without my consent... I had to called in and complain to them until I got back my unlimited plan.

It could be, normally you have to call in and have it removed but there is always the chance that it will be automaticly detected and removed. If you are that set on keeping the unlimited plan would strongly suggest thaty ou take no chances - once it is gone it is very hard if not impossible to get it back

pretty much, I'd have to scratch out the idea of having a second phone. It's ridiculous how much I spent every month on my bill and have to be vigilant about losing my benefits of being a long time AT&T cusomer.
