Return 3g Iphone, buy Blackberry....how????? [ Edited ]

Ok, I'll be as detailed as I can here.

Existing AT&T customer, had original iPhone, was upgrade $199 eligible.  Bought 3g iPhone less than 30 days ago.

Want to return it to buy a probably, Blackberry curve 8310.

HOWEVER, since I bought it at an Apple store, what do I do?  Do I have to return to the Apple store first for refund, then go to the AT&T store to pay full retail for the Blackberry?  Or can the phone be taken to an AT&T store?

Or, maybe, thinking more about it....maybe sell it myself and go buy the blackberry

you would have to return to Apple Store to get refund minus restocking fee and then go to AT&T Store to buy Blackberry but why would you wanna get a blackberry especially a 8310?  I have a 8320 for my Business Line and 8320 has more features then a 8310 and I hate the 8320 so would definately hate the 8310 but love my iPhone 3G...

Well, i guess its just a preference thing.....

I have thought about it tho, and I think I'm just going to sell it locally and buy the BB at retail at the AT&T store.  Probably will get a lot more for it that way to offset the cost of the BB.

I was under the impression the 8320 (that's with wi-fi, right?) was only carried on T-Mobile so you couldn't get it on AT&T unless it's unlocked.  I have the iphone 3g for my personal phone and an 8310 for my work phone and I have to say they serve both of their purposes the best of any other phones I've owned.  But to the OP, if you're going to sell your iPhone 3g and use the proceeds to buy blackberry at retail, why not hold out for the Blackberry Bold?  Early reviews are saying it's got a much better browser than older blackberries and you'll get the 3g speed.  Just the issue of that pesky release date getting announced...

Yes 8320 is T-Mobile unlocked....    I will be getting the Blackberry Bold as soon as its released if its ever released  suppose to be July then was August 14th now talking about September or October....
