What websites have reputable, fast programs for selling my iphone 3gs. Because I'm not eligible until 3/18/2011 for the 199/299 pricing I want to sell my 3gs to get at least half the cost of an iphone 4 at 400 bucks.
Anyone have experience with Gazelle, Nextworth, Flipswap, Celling Post???
I know eBay and craigslist are there...

Try Ebay. I posted my 3Gs yesterday around 4PM EST and aroung 4:30pm EST it sold for my buy it now price. I started the bid at $275.00 and it sold for the buy it now price of $375.00. Keep in mind that Ebay gets a small posting fee. The average fee is around $4.50. Then they take 9% of your sale. Good luck. If it is great condition it should sell.

Do you have to notify AT&T of the new owner or anything if your phone is under contract?

See if you know someone who wants to buy an iPhone but isn't up for an upgrade. I'm selling my 3G to a friend who's daughter wants an iPhone but isn't eligible for an upgrade.

Make sure you erase all your data.
Setting | General | Reset | Erase All Conent and Settings
Some folks advice removing the sim card also.

Not an AT&T subscriber, but after seeing this post, decided to register just to leave this comment. I gotta agree with shizfu on this one. Cellingpost is 100% legit and honest and they'll GLADLY answer any questions you may have, usually that same day. I sell all my Apple goods and other electronics through them and only them, and will continue to do so, as I don't want to deal with the hassle of eBay auctions or Craigslist ads. Like their site says, "As easy as 1. 2. 3." I highly recommend them!
