I really wanna get an iPhone... which I may do in the near future, depending on what's released this month. However I'm not too excited about the expensive plans. I need unlimited texting to other AT&T customers, but only 200 to text anyone else. I can do this on my phone now by adding $5 to my monthly bill, as I'm sure plenty of you know... but can I get the cheaper iPhone plan, and add the 5 bucks to that? That's really a make or break for me. I use over 1500 texts a month sometimes, but there's no way I'm getting even the middle prices iPhone plan, so definitely not the most expensive one.
Anyone know about this? It's not really addressed anywhere I can find, and that worries me a bit.

I've got an iPhone and I was in the same situation you are in. I had the 200 messages of other carriers and the unlimited mobile-to-mobile texts for AT&T customers.
With the iPhone, I was still able to get this. I did, however, have to call Customer Service and finally find someone that knew what I was talking about to get it done, but it is definitely possible. I pay $25.00 per month for my plan with the extra mobile-to-mobile texting option.
There are actually two iPhones on my account and they both have it.
The only problem you'll run into is finding a Rep that won't lie and tell you that you can't have that.
Hope this helps!!
