When will Apple drop you? I CAN'T wait for it!

The day this happens I will run out the door, because I'm so tired of your hidden charges, obnoxious rates, paying for an expensive plan PLUS having to pay for text messaging when every other carrier gives you one flat fee for everything, it is unbelievable that on top of the expensive plan you have to pay extra to get text messaging at this day and age. You take advantage of your costumers and I hope they drop you soon, only 6 more months according to some rumors. On top of ransacking your costumers' pockets, the 3g network it's slow, the costumer service poor. The day Apple drops you, I'm sure a lot of people will too and you deserve it. The day it happens I'll cancel my account, I rather pay your thievery of cancellation fee and not having to deal with you ever again.

You have no idea flat fee? They don't give you flat fee for everything. If you ever get their plans it is still broken down. It is easier to end exclusiveness in europe than here. Apple would have to open a second factory to do so here in the states. So unless the new carrier is willing to fit the bill or at least a large portion it isn't going to happen. No matter what carrier you will need a data plan. Verizon will enforce a 350 etf.

I am willing to put money down that if Apple didn't go exclusive the iphone would have never been this popular. I heard so many times anyone wouldn't have paid $600+ for one. I think they should have had it unlocked and ran on any frequency and no subsidies from the beginning it wouldn't have sold as well but it would eliminate all the headaches.

I have to also add the ETF is what they paid Apple so you could get that shiny phone for $199. Seriously pay the ETF. If you are not getting the service you wanted and can save money elsewhere. It will more than pay for itself.

To the most expensive carrier in US with $350 ETF to begin with who's gonna... uh anyway, hate to disappoint you here, but it's not going to happen any time soon, just look around.. well, here it is, Verizon tries harder than ever to "kill" an iPhone and you really believe there is any chance they going to start selling a phone after putting so much of a negative advertisement out, no way.

Do you think Verizon would be any different?  The only reason T-Mobile and Sprint are competitive on price is, well, because they have to be.  They're second-tier carriers.

Are you trying to be funny? or do you just simply not know how to spell customer?

And bud, there are text messaging plans available, if you choose to not utilize them then it is your own fault for getting charged for every text message.

The vast majority of the readers on this forum are customers just like you.  That, and ATT moderators that have absolutely no obligation to customer service, just policing these forums.  If you have a beef with ATT, then this is not the best way to communicate it.  But if so, at least address it to ATT, not "you you you".

Personally, I'm bummed to find out that I have been hiding charges, taking advantage of customers, ransacking pockets, and thieving. I wasn't aware I was doing any of these things!

This is what happens when you let a handset dictate what carrier you choose.  Just a said case of buyer's remorse.  You didn't do the research, and that's your fault.   There are no "hidden fees".  All the fees are laid out plainly for you to see, otherwise it would be illegal for them to charge them.

{ Please keep it courteous } Hidden fees? Do you actually look at your bill? Is the 5 year exclusive up in 6 months? I didnt hear that rumor, in fact I dont pay attention to rumors, because it is just a rumor. The grass isnt always greener on the other side. If you are not happy, then do what you need to do to become happy. You want an iphone, then you're stuck with ATT, so if you do not want ATT then dont get an iphone. It is that simple.

I will agree with one thing..... AT&T does not do a very sufficient job in communicating. I've ran into multiple issues with this service rep said this, then this one said something completly different. HOWEVER, this is surely not the place to be complaining about service cost, how much you hate something, and badmouthing the forum you are on. Some of us, like myself, like to use these forums as a guide for answeres to questions we have and to help better educate ourselves on the product we are using. Did you just decide to go through the process of setting yourself up on this forum to complain about things you should already know??? If you did, you should at least be complaining about something valid. What network were you on before that is so BLAZING FAST that makes 3g seem so slow??? You agree with the contract before you get it. It's your fault for not doing your research before purchasing. So basically you just posted " WELL HOT DA MN!!!!! AT&T, I'M JUST AN .............well, you can figure it out. Go cry elsewhere
