I just went to the walmart in my area and I asked to speak to the manager about how they were releasing the iPhone. He told me they just came in. He just showed me the shipment of 4 and one of them is white. I'm trying to talk him into either letting me pay for it now and pick it up tomorrow or letting me get it now. He's talking to another manager to see what they can do.

I can't get it today, but they said it's first come, first serve. I already have a reservation at Apple for the black 32G, but I wanted the white one. Hmm. what do I do? Camp out to be the first one to get the white one or just stick with my order at Apple?? Decisions, decisions.

I watched an interview on the news one time about people that camp out in front of stores on black friday and such, and the guy being interviewed said that he enjoyed meeting new people, and the cameraderie with them.  If you decide to camp out, try thinking of it this way insted of just "waiting in line".

I wonder if Walmart allows employees to purchase I phone4. You might want to ask. They may be sold before the doors open.

coming from experience... they did no preorders and obviously arent selling early like they sometimes do... so their stoock must be pretty big... pull up a chair camp it for the night and youre guaranteed the white iphone u... personally my iphone is coming in the mail today but white iphone 4 > black period
