Why does the IPhone 3GS have more features which came with the phone than the IPhone 4?

My daughters's 3GS has group contacts and my4 does not. It use to show groups next to the all contact that shows at the top of my contact list and now since I updated to iOS 5 and Cloud it is gone. I watched the video on how the iOS 5 is suppose to work and according to the video I should be able to put my contacts in groups but that feature is now gone. What do I do?

Why does the 3GS come standard with iOS 5 and icloud and the iphone 4 doesn't? Isn't the iphone 4 suppose to be a newer version than the 3GS. I had to update my 4 with iOS 5. I feel jipped.

I'm running an iPhone 4S with iOS5 and I have Group Contacts. I created the groups in Address Book on my MacBook and placed the appropriate contacts into each group.

All phones are shipped with whatever the latest version of the OS is. If you purchased a phone that contained an old version (for example, an iPhone 4 with iOS4), then it's possible you got one which was in stock for a while. Updates are, of course, free.

Iphone 3GS it does NOT come with iOS5 Standart... the only Iphone it has that standard is the Iphone 4s, anyway you can get it for free ...
