You will be required to change your data plan to one of the new DataPlus (200MB/$15) or DataPro (2GB/$25) plans.
Your data plan you currently have does not qualify and you cannot grandfather into another unlimited plan since your current plan is not a smartphone unlimited plan.

What does your current data plan show for a name in your bill? If it says Unlimited and smartphone and is $30 (data only) you should be able to still select the $30 Unlimited data plan for the iPhone 4.

There are 2 Pantech Matrix phones (Matrix-C740 and Matrix Pro-C820). The first (Matrix) is not a smartphone. The latter (Matrix Pro) is a smartphone and it runs Windows Mobile as its operating system.
Since you stated the "Matrix" I gave the answer for that one, which the answer is no it doesn't qualify.
If you have the Matrix Pro running Windows Mobile and you have currently have the $30month Unlimited Smartphone data plan, then yes you would be able to keep your unlimited data plan.
