canadian staying in US,want to use Ipad 2 on at&t network and 3G iphone.

HI Folks, Been doing alot of research for this. We are driving to california from alberta canada end of july. Ever year we go down to the states, I come home to a ridiculous cell phone bill, even though I apply for the roaming package. This time I want to set my ipad up on at&t pay as you go. As well, I have an old 3g iphone that I dont use any longer and I want to add that to at&t as well. Our first city we hit is great falls montanna, I see there is an at&t store there. I am trying to save some time by trying to ge this sorted out now. I believe I will have to get a at&t sim card and prepaid plan too? I am wondering if I can set that up before hand by ordering sim card etc. any help would be greatly appreciated!

For your iPad you can get an AT&T sim without an issues. Your 3Gs... You will need to make sure it's unlocked from your CDN carrier. Contact your carrier to confirm.

Use google. Results have been mixed with the iPhone as a go-phone.
