iPHONE 5 - Pre-Order

I am reading everywhere that At & t was supposed to allow us to pre-order the iPHONE 5 Sept 30th?

Well, it's no where to be found. No one mention of the iPhone 5 anywhere on the At&t site. I have asked every which way.

I am do for an upgrade and am waiting like everyone else for the iPhone 5. When will I be able to pre-order it?

rumor, Apple does not allow "pre-orders" until the product is officiall released.  Wait until the official pres conference and it should be available after that.

The details of the next iPhone should be available on Oct. 4 when Apple holds their event. One of the things that comes out should be when the phone can be ordered (FYI, it may not be that same day).

There is no guarantee that an iPhone5 will even be released.  All we know at this point is that Apple is holding an event Oct 4th that they are calling "Let's talk iPhone".   For all we know they could be releasing the 4S, 4GS, Q, M, or any other variation.

Until Apple officially announces it, only a complete fool would conclude that the mythical device can be pre-ordered.

Generally a good idea not to believe everything you read/see online.

The only place to read about pre-order is on the Apple site. "Everywhere" is not Apple, and if you believe everything you read "everywehere" then I have a bridge I would like to sell you.

I am wanting to pre-order the iphone 5, i have never done it before.. do you pay for it when u pre-order it?

or do u have just put a deposit down or what?

Normally, you would give your credit card when ordering and the card is charged when the phone is prepared for shipping.

as of today.. You can prepare yourself for Oct. 7th to pre-order. and phone release date is the 14th

it is not called the  iphone 5. it is called the iphone 4S, and preorder friday and ready october 14th for pick up.
