I have the 200 text messaging plan and I've used 122 of my 200 so far and I just dont think I've sent 122 Text messages. I was on AIM that I downloaded and Just want to know if they take from your Text message allowance?I hope not that would stink. I dont think it should but I would appreciate the help.

So, I can use the AIM application from iTunes with the $30 data plan without any extra charges (such as SMS)?
I'll still get the $5 texting plan for normal texting only though.
The reason I ask this is that I never seem to find a straight answer when it comes to this.

I just contacted At&T about this and YES, aim DOES charge you a text messaging fee for incoming and outgoing messages.

I asked specifically for the Iphone, and in the app store if you read under license agreement it specifically says data and messaging charges may apply. I haven't used text messaging in over 2 weeks but my att account messaging details shows all the phone numbers i sent IMs to using the AIM client over those two weeks.
