iPhone 3G APN Settings

Hey!!

Go any of you guys know the iPhone 3G APN Settings?? or where I could find them?

Probably some of you wont know what Im talking about lol

Surprisingly, it still uses Medianet or WAP.CINGULAR.

This can be changed on your iphone using the enterprise tools and sending it, via email or sms to the phone. But your account would have to also be provisioned for those apns

I just got an iphone 3g and i add feature called "swirlyMMS" on it so i could send mms. here's the iphone setting:

MMSC: mmsc.cingular.com
PROXY: 066.209.011.032
APN: wap.cingular
IMAGE SIZE: maximum
USERAGENT: iphone

Note that following these directions involves jailbreaking and will void your warranty.  If you so choose, proceed at your own risk as you could end up with a very nice paperweight.

Yes it does and will work.

All it requires is a little tweaking on the att side. They customer service reps would need to make the changes, and good luck getting them to do that. Basically, your account would need to look like you have never had an iphone... not an easy thing to do.

It does work however, I can vouch for it.

yup those settings works perfectly fine for me. i receive and could sent mms... but im looking for an application that would allow me to send video msgs...

Works just like you'd expect if apple/att provided the app.

It requires that you NOT have the iPhone messaging plan but the standard Text message package instead. Some rumors indicate the Family Text allows it work also.
