@irenie319 - its basically their online order service provided to certain companies so if your employer has a contract with at&t you, as an employee, can receive discounts etc ..This can even work if you are a student you will receive some offers...so if you have an upgrade or want to open a new line etc you can use that to order it instead and they will sometimes have some good deals

I ordered 3 white iphone 4s 16gb on 10/25/11 and it is still backordered... Do you know how much longer im going to have to wait like according to the times everyone else got their phones? Just wanted to update everyone that if you order new now the shipping time now says 14-21 days for the iphone 4s not 21-28 days just to let everyone know. maybe att got alot in stock and they are speeding things up

• People's orders are coming off faster than mine and It's been fairly 15 days... ugh

I ordered an 16gb black iphone on 10/18

And Its not been on backorder on thursday 11/4

So overall it took 16 days (2 weeks and 2 days) for the iphone to come off backorder for me.

Ok well my white 4s 16gb ordered 10/22 n So California.. Came off back order last night around 9 or 10 pm and tonight around 8pm I recieved a tracking # with UPS. I do not see a expected date and time of delivery though :/
Well I'm just gonna track this thing like crazy so I know when to expect it I'm hoping like tomorrow or Saturday!

Good news, they must have gotten in a bunch of stock yesterday/today.

I ordered 11/3 and it came off backorder 11/4 (white 16 gb).  Let's hope everybody starts getting theirs today.

Does AT&T use overnight shipping?

@ Satchow - Yea its overnight shipping...im looking at my tracker right now it shipped out yesterday nightt at 1AM and now its already in my location on the fedex truck..now just a matter of time till my bell rings =)

I called CS yesterday and they told me that they are looking at a week for the 64gb black. But you know how that goes. It could be a B_S answer but I thought I would pass it on.

Has anyone in the Boston area recieved their phones?? Just wondering if we're on the back burner. I'm seeing someone ordered their white 16g 4s on the Nov 2nd and got their tracking info on the 3rd and that makes me irrate! Also, my credit card got charged when I ordered the phone and now the $$ got released back into my account! I called and they said the $$ can only stay on hold for so long before it goes back into your account. They also said credit issues or no funds are making things longer in processing but mine was fine so its annoying me!

It seems shipment of 16GB black iPhones has stalled. I've looked back through all the orders I can access that precede mine and it seems that all white and 32/64GB units have shipped. However every black 16GB ordered after 10/16 either shows 0 in the backorder column, but still no tracking number, or still has a 1 in the backorder column.

I was really hoping mine would ship today. It sucks that my wife will have her 32GB on Monday and I'll still be waiting just for mine to ship. I really wish I would have just got the 32GB at this point. I don't really need that much space, but had I known it would ship sooner I would have paid the extra $100.

I've been following this forum for a couple of weeks and thought I'd share some info. It seems the order fill time has shortened quite a bit. I ordered a black 4S 32gb on Nov. 1 (Tues) through Premier. It came off backlog Nov. 3 (Thur) and shipped today Nov. 4 (Fri). A total of 3 days to ship my order.

It's scheduled to be delivered Tuesday, but I have a feeling it will be Monday since it's shipping from Ft. Worth, TX and I live only 30 miles away.

Overall, happy customer here!

All orders uptill Nov 23rd in my area have shipped. I ordered mine white 16gb white on 10/27. I hope mine shows backordered 0 sometimes next week. Good luck everyone. It seems we will get our phones sooner!!

i just spoke to a very rude att representative and i asked him about my order status. ( 3 iphone 4s 16gb white on 10/26) and he said because i ordered over the phone its gonna take long than if i would have ordered online or in store.... What IS THIS??????? ATT IS ANNOYING ME OFFF HURRY THE {word filter evasion} UP

It's oly been a week, the current estimate on all orders is 14-21 days. I'm betting yours ships sometime next week.
