 and the at&t support or customer care did nt reply me in ma email yet .means customer care calling method or email mehod does not work just paying works . so thts show at&t worker or related staff earning per day 25000& from this service  cuz thousands of imeis unlocked every day 24 hrs service as shown in sales posts .

my other 2 or 3 friends as well call at&t did nt get reply yet from at&t  .

thay hve th case numbers as well .

i thought b4 at&t as united states company stricked at their principles but i saw money is hunny every where .

So i suggest to at&t support plz make a link lik other networks like voda australia  customer easly put his imei on the bord if it is eligible for unlocking it will unlock after 10 minuts otherwise show message plz contact customer care .

Not sure what you are trying to say.  Are you putting up the links to get people to go to these sites and pay for unlocking phones?  There is no charge for unlocking the phone if you are eligible.  If you are paying someone to unlock an iPhone, it isn't anyone from US AT&T.

thts what i try to say  there is no charges for unlocking off contract phones  so why  these peoples selling ur service and i am trying to say peoples who purchas phone from online or sold them due to lake of money  thay called like i called for tht imei  unlock request  thay  get time for unlocking 5-7 working days after check all at&t terms and conditions  .but those person how get their imeis unlocked in 24 hrs  just want to know is there any other way here  acccep calling at&t customercare or sending email unlock request

People are selling the service because they can make money off it.  They were probably selling before AT&T started unlocking, which was only in the past few weeks, and they will keep selling because people are either gulible or can't get their phones officially unlocked.  I suspect most of these "services" are jailbreaking, which will relock as soon as you update the software.  If people want to go and pay these people for doing something that's free, then that's their business.  AT&T is now offering the service.  If people choose not to take it, that's their choice.

Are you asking about the time, why they can do it in 24 hours while AT&T sometimes takes 5-7 days? "They" are most likely either hacking the phone or else they have some level of access to Apple and are asking for unlocks without the authorization of AT&T. These sites are not AT&T, nor does AT&T have any control over them. If someone wants to go to some pay site and get their phone "unlocked" in 24 hours in some unknown way because they don't want to wait up to 5-7 days for a real authorized factory unlock, more power to them.

My 4 and 3G were done within 24 hours from the time I called AT&T and it didn't cost me a penny.

no way that I am aware of - in 5 to 10 days you will recieve an email stating that your phone can be unlocked or the request was denied

I'm not an AT&T customer, but i have an iPhone 4 bought from AT&T. This iPhone simlocked by AT&T and out of contracted. i'm in different country and i cannot use my iphone cause of the simlock. i asked to unlock via live chat at 08.04.2012 and operator said ok no problem we will unlock your sim lock and process will completed in 17.04.2012. We will send an e-mail includes unock information.

Today it's 19.04.2012 and no email or any information about simlock status. By the way i cannot chat via operator because web site says chat unavailable. Also i cannot use my iPhone

How can i contact any operator to ask my simlock status or unlock my phone?

you need to be patient, the date they gave you for the email is an estimate not a deadline, it depends on how long it takes them to investigate to see if the phone is even eligble tp be unlocked - your phone may not be eligibile for a it, not all iphones are. Give it another 5 days or so and if nothing then call them, just be aware that the unlock is not a sure thing, there have been reports of people not getting their phone unlocked because it did not qualify

calling is the only method - email is not avaialble. Somoene posted a email in the main unlock thread that wa supposed to work but it has never been verified anywhere, all the reports state that a call is required.

For security reasons, the iPhone 4s MUST be activated on the account used for the upgrade before it can be switched to another account. The person that sold you the iPhone probably didn't know that, just used their account for the upgrade and sold the phone to make money. I don't know how to rectify your situation.

no, that is a case number, you will recieve another email stating if your phone was eligible for unlock or not (not all iphones are)  - be patient, got one about 10 days after I talked to them.
