iphone price drop

since the 3g iphone is coming out next month, does it make sense that the iphone will have a price drop? i would figure so. i dont know how much the 3g will be but does anyone else know? should that cause a drop on price for the old ones??

My opinion only. When the 3G iPhone hits the market, I'm pretty certain current iPhone users will want the new ones and will be trying to sell their old phones. That will cause a glut of refurbs back to AT&T and folks wanting to sell on eBay, craigslist, etc.

Since I think there will be a lot of old iPhones hitting the market when the new one comes out, I think the prices for them will drop.

Just my opinion, though.

I would think the iPhone that is out right now would drop in price, but I don't know for how much. Out with the old and in with the new. According to this web site, Click Here the 3G iPhone is to be priced from $399.

any thoughts on whether or not this thing will be worth it? i still don't really know if the old one is worth it since i dont have one. if the 3g is gonna be about the same price i figured i might as well get that one but am wondering if it will be worth it. is the 3g iphone going to have video recording and playback ability? im sure even the old one has the playback but will the new one have a recorder?

I think the problem is that no one knows anything about the new iphone for sure. Even the pricing is just speculation. We won't know until Apple makes their announcement.
