waiting or going for it

Sorry if already posted. But what's your plan getting the new iphone first day ordering on line are waiting a little while

before buying. im leaning toward waiting a while with the new ios6 upgrade which sounds like the best ever. upgrading

to it will make the iphone 4s the best out there. except maybe for the bigger screen

Given all the negative posts when the 4S came out I would recommend waiting 2 weeks and then going to an Apple store.  Each time a new iPhone is released there are mega problems with ordering and delivery.  Just wait for the rush to cool down a bit.

I plan on waiting this year. After the last 2 years of getting the iPhone first and having toreturn it due to quality control issues I think my decision to wait is a good one. Sure there are many people out there who haven't had any issues with theirs.Unfortunately I am not one of them.

If, after the official announcement and unvieling, I decide I would want it, I will probably pre order it. Im not good at waiting.

My recomendation is for everyone to order it from ATT so I can get mine from Apple:-)

Apple will usually get new stock first and have had the fewest problems with the volume!  If you look at the history, they are all my order got cancelled, where is it, etc.. and they are all ATT orders.

If you are reading this, choose wisely where you order from!

Never had a problem ordering from AT&T.  Ordered both my iPhone 4 and my 4S through AT&T premier and had absolutely zero problems.

Probably won't be much choice.  Historically, if you don't get an order in on the first day of preordering, the backorder delay goes up to 2-3 weeks pretty quickly.  And, if the phone is a bigger size  and LTE, it may be backordered even longer than that.

i agree with dwill05. if the Iphone has a bigger screen the wait time might a long time....

Not me. I'm pre-ordering. To each his own, but I wouldn't mind getting one from the very first batch, personally. I say why wait for two or three weeks rather than go ahead and get your phone? I've grabbed the new iteration of the phone since day one, and never had a problem. In the unlikely event there's a problem (believe me, complaints you hear are from a minuscule percentage of buyers), that's what the Apple Store is there for. Chances are your phone will be problem free, no matter how early you get it.

good idea. but i hve to wait. i do not have a up grade until next year...
