wifi problems with my 3G

whenever i go into the wifi settings it says on. but no networks show up. when i try to search for the network in my house, it comes up a millisecond later and says "could not scan for wireless networks"

help? ive already tried reset and it didnt do anything

Which Reset did you try?

Turning your phone off and back on.

Holding the Home and Power button for 10 seconds.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Restoring the device using a backup.

Restoring the device without using a backup.

all of those. well accept restoring without a backup. but id rather just take it in to the apple store than do that.

What do you have to loose? They will likely do that also as its one of the TS steps or replace your device, in either case you loose whats on it. The worst case is it take a few minutes of your time to try. Best case is you don't have to make a trip to Apple.

The last thing I can suggest is have you gone somewhere else and tried a different WiFi location to see if you get the same error or if it could be related to your home network?
