Wanted to make a suggestion for the Uverse Iphone/Ipad app. Video can either be streamed, or stored shows replayed to the Iphone/Ipad screen.
However, the app does not let the video show to an external TV via a iphone cable. The audio does seem to play, but the video stops or gets an error when the external source is connected.
This is supported by the YouTube app and a few others. It is useful for displaying the shows on a larger (external) screen. For example, Kenwood audio receivers support this with their Iphone cable.

Along the same lines, the Uverse IPAD app doesn't allow the video to be sent to an AppleTV box for display on a real HDTV. The selection available through the app on the iPad is amazing, but making you watch content on a small screen is a little silly.

Sadly no. The Uverse APP says that there is an external display connected and refuses to continue. I've tried both direct cable and AppleTV/Airplay.
