yes, the Enterprise software.  very expensive.

However, if you need a specific email on your device just forward that email to your account again and it should appear on your device.

That is, of course, if you have set up the www.mycingular.blackberry.com account, and intergrated the email accounts you want to receive on.

Re: Synz ing Blackberry 8800

There are three types of email that can be delivered to your BlackBerry:
  1. yourname@mycingular.blackberry.net - this is the email address which you set up at the Cingular BIS Site.  The only access to this email is on your BlackBerry.  There is no other access to the inbox, once an email is gone from your BlackBerry, it's gone forever, and there is NO Spam filtering available.  You're best not using this address (other than for utilitarian purposes).  There are no sync capabilities with this email, and automation features available (you can't automatically forward email from here to another email account).  This comes with your BlackBerry data service.

  2. POP / IMAP / Web mail - these are email services you set up on the Cingular BIS site - like Yahoo, Gmail, etc.  The accounts are polled at least every 15 minutes, and emails arriving in the service's Inbox are forwarded to your BB.  With most, you can delete emails on your BB and they will be deleted from your Inbox, however this does NOT send them to the mail's Trash folder - they are permanently, irrevocably deleted.  Other than the "delete on Handheld and Mailbox" function, there is no "sync" capability, although many services allow you to use a standard email client (like Outlook Express) to have off line access to your email, but this has nothing to do with your BlackBerry.  Also, you need to filter emails you send at the BIS or provider's to prevent them from showing up on your BlackBerry's Inbox (in addition to its sent items).  Free accounts from Yahoo and GMail work with this service as well as many others.

  3. BlackBerry Enterprise Server - This service has full sync capabilities, and emails typically arrive on your BB within seconds of arriving in your Inbox.  A typical setup is with an Exchange Server and Outlook (Notes and Groupwise are also available).  You get full wireless sync of your Contacts (Address Book), Calendar, Notes (Memo Pad), and Tasks.  While typically reserved for corporate environment "Hosted BES" services are available for an additional monthly fee.  A free version of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is available that will support up to 10 devices, but you need access to one of the Mail servers mentioned above, and it is recommended you NOT run BES on the same server as the mail server, so setting this up requires some technical expertise.
SMS (texting) and Multimedia Messaging are also available on most BB's, but have nothing to do with a BlackBerry per se - they are services provided by your carrier, are not what is typically considered email services, and typically cost extra PER MESSAGE over and above your phone and BlackBerry service charges.
