We recently had ATT U-verse Wireless internet installed in our home. I connected my iPad to the wireless internet without any problems but I cannot get the internet on my wife's iPad2. In Settings it shows the correct Network and it has a check next to the network so it looks like she is connected but when we go into Safari it says that she is not connected to the Internet. Can someone please help?

Are you using the default password that is written on the side of your modem to connect to the network? Also if you are connected to the network properly, open safari and go to 192.168.1.254 and see if you can see the modem's GUI. If you can see the modem's GUI you are definately connected to your modem. If you cannot than you may not be connected properly. Please try connecting to the network but using the password on the side of the modem. Let me know if this helps.

Justin, I also cannot connect my iPad to my UVerse internet. My iPad sees the network but just won't get on it. I've done everything the online advice articles say to do, plus I've been on the phone with tech support twice and had a live chat session. I've checked all the settings on the 2WIRE site & have no problem with other devices. The last phone rep said ATT doesn't support Apple and the chat guy said he could hook me up with fee-based support. The trust level is low so I'm not willing to pay for that. Any ideas?

Try setting a channel instead of letting it pick one automatically. iPad seems to have had a problem with the automatic channel selection mode the U-Verse gateway uses. See wireless settings on gateway.
