I have a Dell laptop using Windows 7, 64 bit.
my laptop can connect to my AT & T router, but cannot connect to the Internet. It says "no internet access"
I have to try 2 or 3 times to get connected to the internet. I always have this problem with the wireless network.
Why does this happen that 1st time it never connects to the internet? Is there a way to fix this so it always connects the 1st time?

Hi,
I apologize you are having this issue. Try this link under: Can't Connect to a home network (wireless connection)
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/T
Additionally you could try:
1. Restarting Router
2. Removing network security settings and re-establish security settings on computer.
Start>Control Panel>Network and Sharing Center (may require to click Network and Internet first if View by: Category selected). Click Manage wireless networks, right click wireless network and remove network. Use back button on top left to return to Network and Sharing Center and click on link Connect to a network. Check box to Connect Automatically and click Connect. Input Security key & connect.
3. Resetting Winsock
Start>All Programs>Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and Run as administrator. At the DOS prompt type: netsh winsock reset catalog and hit enter. Restart system.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
