DSL hog... The infamous PS3

Hello folks, my brother constantly watches movies on his Playstation 3! I'm aware that this demon machine is known to use a bunch of bandwith which chokes up the internet connection! I have the 3600 hgv router and was wondering if it would be possble to purchase another router from Best Buy and run his PS3 directly through it? I'll say i'm not satified with at&t service thus far, the net seems to go down alot even without the PS3 wreaking havoc! HELP ME!
