I just received my NVG510 and setup my U-Verse Internet. I previously had AT&T DSL with a modem (AT&T provided) and a Belkin N600 router - everything worked well with the Belkin Providing Wireless and wired connections including a wired switch (I have to many wired devices to use only the ports on the NVG510).
I plugged the Belkin in to the NVG510 and have a connection but I am finding that:
A. Devices plugged into the NVG510 have reasonably fast connections to the net per Speedtest.net (8 up / 1 down)
B. Devices on the NVG510 wireless have reasonably fast connections to the net per Speedtest.net (8 up / 1 down)
C. Devices plugged into the Belkin have slow connections (2 up / 0.4 down)
D. Devices on the Belkin Wireless have slow connections (1-2 up / .4 down)
I have not tried the wiring the switch directly to the NVG510 and then the Belkin to that. I have tried turning the wireless on the NVG510 off. I have seen options for Cascading Routers and using the NVG510 as a passthrough, but thought it very odd that anything not direct to the NVG510 wired or wireless had such diminished performance.
Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.
