Port Forwarding For Minecraft Server

i am having troubles with my friends being able to log on my server. .
can someone help me so i can get all this working ?
so far i have been able to login to my modem's settings and i am in the firewall settings. the modem is the 3801hgv
any6 and all help will be much appreciated

See chapter 10 (page 72) for port forwarding.
FYI: the 3801 is a Uverse gateway, for better results to any further questions I would suggest posting in the Uverse section.
