3g Data or Wifi on Nokia E71x?

I have prepaid service with a Nokia E71x (got it second-hand). It connects several times a day using GPRS. It is costing me one penny every time it connects. How do I stop the GPRS from connecting? I've set up my home wireless as priority 1 in the settings... It doesn't use it it uses 3G data instead. I don't know why. How can I fix this?

Thank you for the link. I've checked them out and that has solved one problem but I occasionally still get charged 1 cent for data usage when I'm not using the phone for data. It's strange. I have my home wifi set as priority 1 and att's internet as priority 2...
