Hello all. My wife has had an AT&T Avail Smartphone for a few months now and I have always been able to send texts to it via my personal email account using the format email@example.com. This is an unlimited Go Phone account. Just recently a software update came out for the phone and I installed it (not sure if this is applicable). Anyway, I can no longer receive or send texts to the phone via email since then. My other Go Phone works just fine (not a smartphone). I can, however, still send/receive texts directly to and from other cell phones with the Avail. Does anyone have some insight into this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm currently having the same issue. Does anyone have a solution? Another thread suggests using an email to sms aggregator but those services aren't free.
