Constant bad service

Hello, I've been with AT&T 5 years now and my service is constantly awful, and it's getting worse.

I used to have occassional service outages for say 5 minutes or so. And now service goes out for an avereage of 30 minutes to an hour about 3 or 4 times a day. Even if I'm in large cities. I know this isn't my phone as it has been like this with several different phones and my family members have the same problems.

At this point I'm so sick of this I'd like to just leave AT&T for good. But is there anything I can do first that would not require I drop my service plan?

Also, I live in Florida if that helps any.
