I have read all of the posts in this general discussion message board. There is every topic represented from poor service, cost, quality and cooperation problems to a few general, real, technical issues that are intelligent albeit a bit novice.

I have been a customer of AT&T since the Baby Bells. I have been through all of your pain while hanging in there learning, watching technology, and continuing to be consumer of  terrific services from AT&T. What I am reading from the latest product information and how we will have the ability to share "a pool of data" has me flabbergasted. I hope that I am misreading the terms for the new sharable data plans.

My scenario is a basic phone plan but purchase a 4 GB data plan for the “privilege” of acting as an occasional Wi-Fi hot spot. I seldom use a fraction of the text, talk, or data each month. Mobile Share sounded great! Where do I sign up? I will move my wife to a single plan where we both use the same carrier. The problem is, if I understand this correctly, now I have the privilege of paying for sharing unlimited talk and text I don’t need, want or use just to “share the data’ I pay for each month but don’t use,

AT&T Marketing Guys; help me with some real choices for the quantity of text, voice, and data that is truly customized to my “family plan.” If I exceed my chosen limit on any resource, then boo hoo. It is my fault and I pay the penalties of overages. Conversely, how about some roll over plans for data? This is nothing new; we have resolved the issues with voice/talk for years, and years. Please, give triple play U-verse customers the tools and choices we need. If not, as one customer, I will find alternatives because this is getting ridiculously expensive.

Message board members; hang in there because you will learn the tools and technology. There are human errors of all ilk including property damage accidents to marketing campaigns. I hope it gets better for us all through real communication. I apologize in advance for posting in an inappropriate place or if I have offended anyone. I really hope my take on the new Mobile Share is way off base. And too, I want to thank anyone who read this post. Best to you all.

I'm sorry, but I don't get your question.  What exactly do you want to do?
