How do you stop the message "New item IM Client" from popping up

My phone keeps popping up with a message "New item IM Client". How do I stop it?
It is an older phone, Nokia 6010.
Any help would be appreicated.![]()

Sounds like your getting Instant Messages (IMs).
According to the manual on page 91, be sure to "Log Out."

if you have a hard time figuring it out on the phone itself, you can always sign onto that account on your computer, bump the session and sign off.
