IM on iPhone? What plan?

I have an iPhone 3G with the unlimited iPhone data plan and also the unlimited iPhone messaging plan.

I am trying to clarify if IM (AOL, Yahoo messenger, etc.) messages are included also.

I already know that MMS (text, pictures, video) is included. I'm ONLY trying to verify that "IM" is included.

Since you have both the unlimited data and messaging then yes its included.

The iPhone does not come with an IM applications pre-installed. So you have to get one from the App Store. Most are designed to use data.

I would recommend BeeJive IM.
