Messaging Plans 200 and 1500

I think AT&T should have a messaging plan between 200 and 1500 because I barely go over the 200, but I don't need nearly as much as 1500. Just a suggestion.

This has been brought up by numerous users. As I do not work for AT&T, I am not sure why they chose 200 and 1500, but my bet is that those plans are based on usage patterns by most users.

It brings in a higher revenue stream. If somone sends texts to a few people each day its really easy to go over the 200. Next thing you know the only other viable option is to up the plan which brings in an easy $15 for them.

They are getting alot of sugg though so maybe a $10 plan is in the works. They used to offer one that gave unlimited in texting but got rid of it for some reason.

The closest thing they have (and I know it's still in their systems because I have it on occasions) is 200 messages + Unlimited M2M messages. You just have to ask about it usually. The feature is priced at $9.99

I'd have to agree. I average about 300 to 500 texts in a billing period. I have 1500 at this moment and have never even gotten close to using all of them. I'd love a 500 message option.
