I have yet to find any information on this.
I have both a contract mobile data plan and a prepaid dataconnect Pass.
Both are running through a Momentum 4G (Sierra Wireless 313U)
When I first got the aircard and sims, they showed my ip as a proxy server in Chicago. Latency was 60-80ms.
A week later it shows my ip as a proxy server in Witchita KS. Latency went to 100-120ms
Now after LTE was turned on in my area (even though I still only get HSPA+), my ip is from a proxy server in PA
Latency is 150-250ms with almost 40% packet loss.
Although through this my private ip shows 10.x.x.x, but my public IP is always through a proxy.
This has completely crushed my VPN. I rely on this for work. I connect both through a Cradlepoint mbr900 and through ACM direct to my pc. Both do the same.
Is there any solution or am I stuck? I am in a rural area and my signal is always -80dbm to -70dbm. Even going to twon where the tower is different, using my laptop, I still am connecting through a PA proxy.
What gives? It has been running great for 2 years and now that LTE has rolled out it has gone completely belly up.
Please help. Thank you.
