Option GT Max 3.6 using a Cisco VPN client.

Does anyone know of any problems with the Option GT Max 3.6 having trouble with connectivity using a Cisco VPN client. I have a user who can establish a connection, but has no connectivity < i.e cannot connect to his exchange server via outlook or connect to the internet.> after it is connected.

what operating system and version? what version of cisco VPN client?

IT is Win XP Pro Sp2. The Client version is 4.8.00.0440.

I have the same problem. I have tried OSs of Vista and XP. It makes no difference. The Cisco Version I am using is 5x. The thing that does seem to be at the heart of the issue is the Internet Service Provider. I only have trouble with a DSL connection from AT&T. If I connect the laptop into any other service provider, it is fine. I also must say that if the DSL was originally with someone else like SBC then merged with AT&T those seem fine too. It's just the DSL started with AT&T.

AT&T does have restrictions on VPN connections. When working a convenion in ST. Louis, the AT&T install staff infomred me of this. This issue I am having however, with with a Cellular Based Broadband wireless card and I am need to know about restrictions on that.
