I've asked about unicode(other languages) text messaging before , and I could not find any solutions within the AT&T.
For some reason, AT&T SMS Message Center blocks my UTF-encoded messages from going through the system.
I was just wondering, if there are companies that provide SMS service only. I found out that I can change SMS Message Center Number on my phone, so I thought there could be SMS provdiers that operate SMS Message Center.
Thanks.

Even if that were the case it would only take care of the outgoing messages from your phone. You'll still lose the UTF-encoded on the incoming messages, as well as any AT&T customer you might send those to would never receive them. AFAIK the only way to do it between AT&T customers is to send iPhone-to-iPhone.

Thank you again dmapr! UTF-encoded messages would not be even sent from my phone, so I was really curious how AT&T iphones would recieve the messages from my phone. (in order to test that, the messages should actually go through the SMC and reach the iphone, but it won't let me do that) I tried tons of SMCs, but none worked. I guess I should just give up....
Notice I said iPhone-to-iPhone
I was not able to send to iPhone or receive from iPhone successfully, but I saw it go between two iPhones.
I only see the UTF-8 problem when sending/receiving to/from domestic number. Messages to/from international numbers are delivered unmolested. Also, in my case I can send it to myself and ir arrives in pristine condition, which leads me to believe that the UTF-8 stripping happens later, not at the first server. Presumably when you send it to yourself the server just turns it around and sends it back.
I haven't tried in a while, maybe the problem has gotten worse since the last time I tried. I was also getting billed for those that were sent to some UTF black hole — if you're not billed for the ones you're trying to send unsuccessfully it'd be a good indicator that my view of things is outdated...
