What does a 'blocked' person experience when they try to call or send a text?

Before I block the person I want to block, I want to know what happens if they try to text or call. For example, do they get a specific text/voice message indicating they've been blocked? Or do they just get a generic error message? Or do they just think their text/call went through without fail?

It depends. How are you planning on blocking the calls and texts? Are you signing up for a service (like SmartLimits) or are you doing it directly from your phone (if it has the capability)?

OK, I would like to know as well. I have an iphone and the blocked number is a blackberry phone (not sure of their service). What message do they get when their text or call is blocked? Thanks for helping me.

It is like Planet-Ed stated, depends on how you are doing the blocking.

You will never recieve the texts, if they call they will get a error message or go to voicemail. On my samsung magnet it would say:

Call blocked from: name here
