"have a little sympathy for the technical support agents. You may have spent 22 years in engineering, but they spend every day working specifically with these devices."
HA HA HA.. Are you kidding? All tech support does is sit at desks waiting for a call, then when they do they pop up their own program, of which is much like Troubleshoot, where it gives you options/directions, then potential fix's.. If they dont' work, ATT will either say "We'll work on it and get back to you" Or some lame excuse like "We are having a little trouble lately. Could you try again later?" I mean seriously, do you honestly believe tech support was trained with the in's and out's of the device and are specifically aware of the knowledge of the current fix's of a typical device, as well as constantly searching for any more potential flaws?
Newsflash, That's what they do during TESTING a product to see if it works.. Tech supports are usually minimum wage/drop out jobs. >.>

Why that last statment didn't get flaged as flame bait I'll never know. Personally I have a few choice words for you but I don't want to avoid the word filter. Speaking as a former call center worker (I guess that makes me a minimum wage drop out) you should show a little sympathy. They may not be perfect but they are human beings and deserve some respect. I'm sure that even you burned your first batch of fries.

Hi,
I have a DELL Latitude E6400 with an internal aircard. Most of the AT&T Communication Manger (ACM) versions available for download don't seem to work with the E6400 laptops (ACM just says that no device was detected), but the 6.10.0106.0 version of the ACM does work with the E6400. My boss just got an E6400 as well, but I can't seem to find the 6.10.0106.0 version for download. I found the 6.10.0025.0 version, but it doesn't find the aircard; it says that no device was detected. So I've got two questions:
(1) Does anyone know where I can get a direct download of the ACM version 6.10.0106.0; and
(2) Does anyone know if the most recent version available on the AT&T website is compatible with the Dell Latitude E6400 laptops? The download available is ACM version 7.00.0058.
Thanks,
E
