Same here. I had Roadside Assistance with Sprint and the response time was way too long. So I cancelled too.
If one can lookup towing numbers on a cell phone, it should not be necessary to call RA. It might have been helpful during the earlier days when cell phones were limited to calls and texts.

Ok, I pay $2.99 a month for this feature. So I ran out of gas an called. Well, I called an it took the representative a few minutes to get someone to come out. I get told that I will be charged $10 out of pocket for whoever to bring me gas. Really, I don't pay $2.99 just to pay someone else for this feature that is threw AT&T. This being said, roadside assistance sucks. This is a joke. Canceled immediately. Thanks AT&T really appreciate it.
review the other roadside assistance programs they are all pretty much the same, from ATT to AAA

I wonder if they treat out of gas situations differently because due to the price of gas they suspect people of running out in purpose.I remember one state had a free service to help people stuck on the highways, but people were intentionally running dry so they could score a bit of free gas. A flat tire on the other hand is something less likely to be staged.

Just thought I would put my info to help others out before they choose this feature!
thing is it is the same for all roadside assistance organizations - I carry the roadside assistance mainly for the insurance discount, last time my daughter locked her keys in her care the wait time was 2 1/2 hours, when she ran out of gas it as 6.00 @ galleon for the fuel minimum 3 galleons/ Pay a lot more then 3.00 a month for it, 79.99 for the primary member a year and 39.99 for each additional member

I would never pay that much for this feature. Let alone they get us on what money they can already.
Confued in the first post you said you paid it, so at lesat until the recent call you where paying the charge. As far as the service tht I have, what I pay for the member ship is more then made up for by the percentage of discount off the insurance premium for all the cars.
