All is well. Looking at account.
Phone: W610i. Browser: Stock S/E wap browser.
Could it be that "banking" app solves a problem that did not need to be solved, just like "Mobile Email?" What am I missing?

Chase.mobi works with every other mobile device except the iPhone. I spoke with a supervisor at Chase Mobile Banking, and she said that's a known issue and that they're actively working on it. She said the problem is with the iPhone's ability to handle Chase.mobi's security feature. I tried going to Chase.mobi on my iMac, and I ended up with the same problem. So I suspect it's a problem with Safari, not the iPhone specifically. (Long-time Mac users can remember how spotty Safari 1.0 was with secure banking sites.)
I asked if they would turn off the automatic redirect and allow iPhone users to use Chase.com, as we always had before Chase.mobi launched, and she said it was a business decision not to allow mobile devices to access Chase.com and that the decision would not be reversed.

Incorrect. Chase.mobi does work fine. I and along with a lot of others have been using it for for some time now. I just tried it again a few minutes ago to verify and its still good.

You're not doing anything wrong.

More problems...
The mobi site does not handle cookies properly for the Samsung Impression SGH-A877.
Chase never "remember me", and always says,"We don't recognize this device. As a precaution, we need to verify your identity in order to give you access to your accounts. All you need to do is get an activation code."
Cookies are enabled and work just fine, and other Web sites have no problems storing cookies. Just Chase mobi.
Chase says it is obvious it is a Samsung problem. I wrote in more detail in different reply.

If your cell phone comes with the AT&T Mobile Banking application pre-installed, there is no way to activate it.
The "Activation code" sent from Chase, is not for the app, but for Chase's internal setup for you, and is entered into a Chase form, not the cell phone Mobile Banking application.
If you are lucky enough to be able to download the app, you get a activation code that is meant for the application.
AT&T's download site won't let me download the Mobile Banking application for my cell phone, even though it is pre-installed. So AT&T and Chase say there is no way for me to activate the app.
