All email is totally down on this Blackjack II.
On 11/29/09, started getting the above error when trying to access an msn.com email account via Xpress mail (the only option for accessing hotmail on the Blackjack II from Samsung, according to when I configured the device). The regular messaging/email system would not work with hotmail.
In addition, am getting an error locating the server from the regular messaging/email program when trying to access an at&t account.
Tech Support Chat is not available for some reason... it tells me I can click to chat and then there is nowhere to click.
FYI: syncing to the devices from Macs. Do not have ability to install .exe files, but can send .cab files to device and have them auto-install. I am able to mount device if I have to uninstall that way. Thanks for ANY help.

Well, here's the solution. I ended up having to chat with an AT&T tech, and he actually reset the network connection from their end, after I turned the phone off. So it seems there was nothing to do on our end.
The only thing the tech gave as far as advice was to be sure to turn the phone off 2-3X a week for about two minutes each time. Apparently this allows updates to download to the phone.
Good luck.

I also started having problems with XPress Mail on 3/29. I have a Nokia. Since then it can't connect. I have uninstalled and tried to reinstall multiple times. But now during the installation/registration, it can't connect to the server (s7123 error) so I can't complete the registration process.

Hi Vocce: Question: DId you also receive an email stating that your AT&T services changed and to view your Custome Service Summary (CSS) at the same time Xpressmail went offline for you?
Yep something is going on . The last time this happened ATT Tech did something on their end where they 'reset' something and it all started up again. I am not s ure if it was a server that connects to the Xpress server for "SEVEN" but whatever it was, it worked.. this time i called tech support and the guy didnt know what to do (duh) this makes me angry

There was a server upgrade at SEVEN that is causing the issues.. I am very sorry AT&T for any negative comments.
This is what was posted on the SEVEN forum regarding the outage:
| After an upgrade was completed on our servers (http://community.seven.com/viewtopic.php?t=4715), our service began to be intermittent and then unavailable. This was due to a misconfiguration and it has been rectified. Only certain accounts were removed from the devices and if your account was removed, please uninstall and reinstall the software and add your email account. We do apologize for this inconvenience and are making additional changes so that this doesn't happen again |

Corresponded with a tech at SEVEN and he suggested I download the Consumer Edition "out of office" cab (ppcwm5.cab) and I can now access my hotmail account.
He told me that SEVEN is owned by ATT and that the servers, etc are all accessible by ATT. At any rate, this works for me. I am happy
