(Sorry to cross-post but I figured this question might be answered better in the WP7 Community)
The first and only thing about my Windows Phone that has finally driven me to the forums here is email delivery (or lack there of). I come from a Blackberry background and the Blackberry Internet Service was usually a flawless system for email delivery to the devices. Windows Phone on the other hand has been terribly frustrating and unreliable. The only option I've seemed to find to get mail delivered to my phone "immediately" is to manually 'sync' within the mail client on the device itself. I open the client to have it display "Last synced 27 minutes ago" for IMAP Gmail of all things! Is there not a default server poll time? I haven't seen settings anywhere on the WP7 like you do on an Android to set poll times. If I don't open the client I get mail but just very very after the fact...and that's really annoying. Anyone here a specialist on AT&T email service that can confirm or deny what I'm saying? I love the WP7 for everything BUT email...really don't wanna go back to Blackberry again
