I can no longer retrieve my email.
I am using -> ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net
It worked earlier this morning but now claims my password is invalid.
I have been using (9 digit number)@worldnet.att.net
That has worked with my thunderbird email client for years.
I read some stuff about the email migration (don't know if that causedf the problem) and tried:
(9 digit number)@att.net
(emailName)@att.net
Still doesn't work.
I tried to access my mail via your webmail page and it redirected me to the new Yahoo page. It will not accept my password.
I tried to use the AT&T Dialup migration tool and it won't accept my password.
What should I do to access my email?

Hello bilbod,
Since, all the WorldNet email account has been migrated to AT&T DSL/DIAL services on AT&T New Alternative Portal (NAP) and as AT&T is phasing out the old Home Page service (my.att.net) all customers will be upgraded to the new Powered by Yahoo! (PBY!) Home Page, this is the only reason due to which you are getting redirected to New Yahoo! home page.
Hence, if your AT&T email account is still on AT&T NAP page, I would suggest you to migrate your AT&T email account from NAP to PBY! through the link mentioned below:
https://attreg.att.net/PortalMigrationTool/entry.d
Once you complete the migration process, you should be able to access your AT&T email account on the new Powered by Yahoo! through the link mentioned below:
In order to access your AT&T email account (after the migration) in your email client, you'll need to update the settings of your email client.
To verify the settings in your email client, please use the steps available in the link mentioned below:
http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB4015
If you experience any difficulty while completing the migration process (from AT&T NAP to AT&T PBY!), it is recommended that you contact AT&T eChat support. They will provide the information accordingly and provide you the relevant solution.
If you are in, 'AR, CA, CT, IL, IN, KS, MI, MO, NV, OH, OK, TX, & WI', you may click on the following link to connect to a chat agent.

I tried the migration again but got the same message:
"The Member ID or password you entered does not match our records. Your Member ID is the same as your email ID. Please try again."
How do I use echat?

eChat support was only marginally useful.
They told me that it could take upto 24 hours for the data to migrate to Yahoo so I waited. I tried accessing my email via webmail last night and it worked.
I could still not retrieve my email from my email client.
I followed the instructions on the Yahoo website for configuring Thunderbird but the instructions do not work for at&t mail. IOW they give the wrong information.
I re-contacted eChat support but when they learned that I use the Thunderbird email client, they gave me a Support Plus phone number to call.
BTDT won't call support lines anymore. They are a big time waster.
I searched this board to find the correct settings for the smtp and pop servers as well as the correct account name to use. It took several tries but I got it to work.
Here are the settings that work for Thunderboird 2.0:
Account Name: emailName@att.net@att.net [I know using @att.net twice seems stupid but it works]
POP Mail Server Name: pop.att.yahoo.com
POP User Name: emailName@att.net
SSL Port 995
SMTP Mail Server Name: smtp.att.yahoo.com
SMTP User Name: emailName@att.net
SSL Port 465
I hope that saves somebody else some time.
