Within the past few months, I noticed that my internet would stop randomly, sometimes during important emails or webpages. So i decided I needed a new setup...
I bought an Airport Extreme (I have a Macbook Pro)...and got the Motorola Router from AT&T.
I set everything up yesterday, and it was working fine. It was pretty normal.
Then, last night (yes, a day after) I noticed it was moving super slow. It's running at like, ohhhh..... .75 mbs. I have DSL Elite. This is bogus! Brand. New. Expensive. Equipment.
So what could cause it to slowly decline? I had a rough time setting everything up, and I don't want to think that the money i spent went to waste.

This is the nightmare called AT&T DSL. Unfortunately in my opinion all the equipment was a waste of money. The problem is not on your end. It's AT&T equipment that can't handle the amount of subscribers they sign up. Major congestion on their servers. The fact that they keep signing up more and more customers knowing that their equipment can't handle that many shows what a dishonest shady company this is. AT&T DSL sucks! AT&T customer service sucks! Corporate greed at it's best. Read other posts on this forum and you will see that this is not just my opinion but fact. You are not the only one with this problem.

Yep...write your public utillities commission. They are crooks.
