Lately, i've been recieving several DSL disconnects whenever i attempt to browse the internet. My modem seems like its reseting... the DSL green light goes out, and the internet light turns red, and then it takes about 30 seconds to come back up... When I try to connect to the internet while this is happening i recieve a home summary page. While running the diagnostics on this page, it instantly tells me that either DSL or PPPoe has failed. While i'm not disconnecting every 10 or so minutes, I recieve slow internet, in which the dianostic page tells me that IP has failed. I originally switched to DSL so have reliable, quick internet anywhere, although its beginging to seem that im having a lot more issues with this then I was with cable.

Which speed package do you have?
Have you recently upgraded your speed?
What make/model modem are you using?
How many and what kind of computers?
How long has this been happening?

You might try a factory reset : http://broadband.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a
Then you will have to reconfigure the internet connection again : http://broadband.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a

Well, then it looks like either your modem is crapping out, or you are having some line issues.
If the modem is less than a year old it should be under warranty still and should be eligible for free replacement. If it's a line issue, the problem could be your DSL filters, or it could be a problem with the wiring it self, either within your home or on the lines leading to your home.
When you got your DSL, did AT&T come and install it or did you do a self-install?
If your somewhat handy, you can test whether it's your house wiring by running a line from your modem, straight to the NID, which is the small grey box on the side of your home where the outside telephone lines connect to your home, and temporarily disconnect your home wiring, thus determining whether inside wiring is a potential problem.
