In my house we have been using the 2wire router with both a mac and a recently purchased hp laptop. The mac never has problems connecting. The hp will go from completely connected to no connection at all out of no where without moving the computer. Then, eventually, it will come back on.
Spoke to At&t who helped us to make a stronger signal etc.
Then bought a new wireless router, an apple airport extreme, thinking that the 2wire was just not strong enough for the pc (which I was told has different wireless technology than the mac). But problem still persists for the pc.
Spoke to computer people but they don't see any problems with the computer and this problem does not arise at wireless networks outside of the house (e.g., cafes).
Anyone have any ideas if this is an at&t issue or who to talk to? I constantly get the run around.
Thanks
