After reading similar posts, my first question that others have posted; ATT why Mcafee.
I have spent 8 hours this week on my parents PC and Mcafee trying to uninstall malware. Tuesday was successful, tonight another story. The answers and stories I was given from McAfee were unbelievable. They told me , hard drive, operating system, the ref number I gave them from Tues, they said wasn't a Mcafee number, even though the remote assistance was a mcafee remote,( www.mcafee.com/remote, tonight was www.ammyy.com-???I really am not even sure if I have ever talked to Mcafee. Then for$179.00 they could help me and warranty it for a year. Can we say hang-up fast enough?? oh and BTW all PC's should be serviced every 2 months. I said really I work for a technical college, worked for an IT consulting company years ago and have a home desk top that has functioned fine for 7 years with no service.
So parents tower is in my car going to local PC repair tomorrow, AT & T really you need to look at another product. I can't afford the 7-8 hours of frustration, nor can you if you value their customers. Also, was told by one guy tonight, I as a customer was not important to him.
