Can you imagine what this looks like? The time it would take for you to download a full feature film is what it takes for me to watch a 3min video on youtube. This is so out of contract and so very incredible all I can do is smile and cancel out. If I were to complain again, Im sure when AT&T checks they'll probably get something like this instead:
This is what my connection does, it plays tricks. When I pay my bill, there are no tricks. Not even 20mins apart and the speed has jumped like the Delorian in back to the future. But watch this! After I watch about 30sec's of a youtube video, my connection is throttled down to this:
You notice these speeds have nothing to do with the time of day, or my distance from DSL's home-base or whatever. It simply does what it wants. When I pay my bill, I don't do what I want. If I did, I would throttle down my rate to a decimal something like the speed at the very top. That would be just. Im just going to leave the service. AT&T knows this is happening to my connection because I've received emails about torrent downloads etc in the past. AT&T monitors. I pay for the highest speed my area offers. I have never even seen 3mbps. I upgraded from that and still never got the speed I was only paying $14 for lol. No point in going U-verse unless your going to credit me 4 years of dsl service I never received. Im not even getting 2mbps come on, whats that worth? Maybe $10/month and Im paying $40/month from the $35/month I payed in the past after initially paying $14 the first month with discounts. All I can do is move on. Just sucks cause I have AT&T land lines (3), cell phones, ,DSL, hosting, TV, email etc. I bundled these things myself because Its better to have it all in one bill. So when I leave, I'm' leaving it all behind.
