I use Windows Live Mail on my computer. I have windows 7 and IE8. I use ATT Mail as my primary Email server. However, there are times when Email will not download and the status stays in the "connecting" state. I can go directly to ATT mail and forward the mail to Gmail.com and from there download it to my computer via Windows Live Mail. Before I created a Gmail Email access I had to power down the computer then bring it up again. This was usually successful - but not always. Sometime I just gave up. (Therefore my login name)

Strange. If it always works for Gmail it seems that it should work for ATTmail. It is the same software and the same settings in my computer.
