Very very disappoint ed

I am very dissapointed in my internet service. My internet cuts out every 5 minutes if i'm lucky. I don't know whether or not there is work being done on the lines, but this has happened before. The last time it happened a technician came out and fixed the problem, he said my modem was too far away and he ran a wire. I don't know if my internet is being capped for overuse(which shouldn't be happening but I heard it does), but I need a fix for this problem. Before it started cutting out it was going really slow. It has cut out twice within the course of typing this small paragraph. From all of the people saying they have this problem in Metro ATL(40 mins away), I was thinking that ATT would care a little. I am looking to switch to another company if this isn't resolved soon.

Not even worth posting 4, which just happened. Doubt I will get help anyway. I plan on switching this week.

AT&T calls this "intermittent interruptions". It occurs on my DSL line various times a day. Sometimes it will occur up to 5 times within a very short time span. It never lasts very long. AT&T ignores the problem & for now I live with it but in the future when some conditions change I will drop AT&T> I do understand that with U-Verse no interruptions occur.

Hate to disappoint you John, but I have Uverse and it goes out all the time as well.
