cant prefill contacts

When I compose a message, it will not prefill the email address. When I click the plus sign no contacts are found. BUUUUUT if I go to the contacts tab, all my contacts are there. I need help

I'm having the exact same problem, just started yesterday. Works fine in IE, does not in Chrome.
